Welcome to the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame

The NSCMHF was established in 1997 by a group of dedicated individuals to honor performers and others who have made major contributions to the country music industry in Nova Scotia.  We are committed to the preservation, promotion and development of country music in Nova Scotia, and the continuing recognition of deserving performers and others who have made an impact on the country music industry.  We are so glad you are here to experience our new browsing experience, and to help support us!

In 3 short weeks we will be holding our Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame 2026 Induction Ceremony.  Come help support and acknowledge Nova Scotia country music. Join us in Bridgewater (at the Bridgwater Best Western) on the evening of September 12, for our premiere event of the year. 

The evening begins at 5:00 pm (doors open at 4:00) with a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings. After the meal there will be an awards ceremony followed by a wonderful concert of traditional country music, performed by our inductees with a guest performance by the Jovial Joes. 

Please bring your appetite, your cowboy boots and enjoy a night of celebration and country music, performed by incredibly talented Nova Scotians, young and old.

Press Release – 2026 Inductees June 26, 2026
The Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame is pleased to announce our 2026 Nominees for Induction. Following our detailed nomination process, this year we will be inducting five new members into the Hall of Fame. As stated by Nova Scotia Hall of Fame President, Roger Bleasdale, “We are proud to recognize an impressive and talented slate of individuals who are worthy of induction”.

Please join us in welcoming these new nominees and recognizing their strong and lasting contributions to Nova Scotia country music, at a gala induction ceremony and musical event to be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Best Western Plus, Highway 10, Bridgewater, N.S.
