Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Hall of Fame induction dinner and concert in Truro in mid September.
“Again this year we have a great slate of inductees whose talents will make for an enjoyable evening of classic country music,” said Hall of Fame President Roger Bleasdale. “Before the show, everyone will enjoy a full course turkey dinner. Tickets for the evening, including the dinner and concert, are $60 (sixty) dollars.”
The event is being held at the Best Western Glengarry hotel, 150 Willow Street in Truro on Saturday, September 14th. Doors will open at 4:00 o’clock, dinner is at 5:00 PM and the induction show will start at 7:00 PM
This year’s inductees are singer Cecil MacDougall of Dartmouth, instrumentalist Bob McDonald of Dartmouth, builder/promoter Clayton Lewis of Weymouth, and singer John Snyder of Enfield.

If you know of an up-and-coming young performer who could use a new guitar, the NSCMHF would like to help. A brand new Epiphone guitar has been donated by the family of the late inductee Ralph Conrod with the intent that it be awarded to a youthful performer. To nominate a deserving young person, simply submit their name and home phone number with a line or two as to why they are deserving and mail it to us by midnight Saturday, June 1st. Submissions should be marked “Guitar Giveaway” and mailed to the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, 100 High St., Suite 230, Bridgewater, N.S. B4V 1V9.
